After a five year hiatus, The Shins returned to the spotlight this year with acclaimed new album, Heartworms, written and self-produced by James Mercer.  Since the album’s release, The Shins have hit the road, and recently played a victorious and sold out show at London’s Hammersmith Apollo.  Mercer is joined on tour by Yuuki Matthews (bass), Jon Sortland (drums), Mark Watrous (guitar, keys, vocals), Casey Foubert (guitar) and Patti King (keys).
