English indie/electronic band the Ting Tings consist of the duo Jules De Martino (drums/vocals) and Katie White (vocals/guitar/bass drum). The band formed in 2006 whilst based at the trendy arts studios in Islington Mill, Salford.

The Tings Tings was born after vocalist Katie had just left high school and met band-mate Jules. The pair immediately bonded over a shared ambition to become pop-rock stars.

After signing to Columbia Records, the Ting Tings next single release will be ‘That’s My Name’, which will be available on May 12th, followed shortly by their long awaited debut album ‘We Started Nothing’ on May 19th.

The Ting Tings will be performing live at Manchester Academy 2 on Sunday 18th May.
