The Gaslight Anthem hail from New Brunswick, New Jersey and their anthemic tales of Americana life have captured the imagination and hearts of fans and media alike.

The Gaslight Anthem’s music embraces many elements of the Jersey Shore sound. Brian Fallon’s fondness for Springsteen, a significant influence on their music, is a fact celebrated by fans and critics alike.

The bands sophomore album “The ’59 Sound” was heralded as one of the best albums of 2008.  Kerrang! magazine put the band on the cover before they had ever written a word about them, the NME called it the “best album of 2008”, other immensely positive press came from RockSound, Big Cheese, Q magazine and The Sun as well as other great American press in the form of Alternative Press, Rolling Stone and Spin.  The album debuted at number 70 in the Billboard Top 200.

The beginning of 2010 has seen the band enter the studio once again with producer Ted Hutt and commence recording for their third full-length album, titled American Slang, which is scheduled for a June release.
