Over the last few years The Complete Stone Roses have emerged as possibly the most revered and respected of tribute bands. Regularly selling out venues across the UK and Ireland, they have helped carry on the music of one of the UK’s most influential bands – The Stone Roses.

The Roses played a pivotal role in the history of the UK indie music scene. Famous hits like Fools Gold, I Am the Resurrection and Adored are as recognisable now as they were during the heyday of Madchester and the Hacienda. The Complete Stone Roses play to acclaim from fans, critics and original members alike – Mani has been known to appear as a warm up DJ on the odd occasion, and has even played bass on stage for ‘She Bangs the Drums’! “They do our songs real justice”, he says, “At times, they play even better than we did.”

Although the music press is full of rumours and speculation regarding the reformation of the original Roses we’re pretty sure it won’t be for some time yet, so the Complete Stone Roses really are the next best thing.

The Complete Stone Roses will be performing live at Manchester Academy on Saturday 29th November.
