Sublime with Rome is the collaboration between Eric Wilson and Bad Gaugh of Sublime and vocalist Rome Ramirez. Since the untimely death of Sublime’s original singer, Bradley Nowell, Rome has featured with former Sublime members. Sublime with Rome performed their first gig together in February 2009 and are currently working on a debut album, which is due for release in 2011.
Sublime was an American reggae fusion band from Long Beach, they were one of the most popular bands of the ska punk genre. Their genre-blending mash-up style incorporated elements of dub, reggae, first-wave and second-wave ska, punk rock, improvised dancehall, hip hop, psychedelic rock and acoustic rock. With the mainstream success of their self-titled album, going five times multi-platinum and earning worldwide airplay, Sublime’s impact persists to this day.
