featuring Every Time I Die, Trash Talk, Defeater and Spycatcher

We are extremely pleased to announce Buffalo's finest Every Time I Die will headline the 2011 Rock Sound Riot Tour, with support coming from Spycatcher, who will open the shows, and very special guests to be announced.

Tickets are onsale via a presale at Gigsandtours.com, a 24-hour credit card hotline 0844 811 0051 and musicglue.net/rocksound from 9am on Wednesday July 27 at 9am and then on general sale on Friday July 29 at 9am.

Having dominated stages worldwide since their inception in 1998, Every Time I Die are nothing less than a force of nature. The Rock Sound Riot tour will be the only chance to see ETID in the UK before unveiling their as-yet untitled sixth album, set for release in 2012.

Says frontman Keith Buckley: "Your pints are probably the frostiest during the winter months, so for that reason alone I’m excited to get back into the UK. Add to that the fact we're headlining the Rock Sound Riot Tour and I’m like a child on Christmas Eve. No, not embarrassed by his drunk uncle who kicked over all the potted plants in my parents’ house before passing out in the backseat of his own minivan, just excited. It’s an honour and a privilege to be a part of this tour: Spycatcher are an incredible new band so be ready to be rocked hard. Oh, and I’m probably going to need to bum a cigarette, if that’s cool…"

They will be joined by Spycatcher, who have recently been added to the BBC In New Music We Trust playlist and whose phenomenal debut album 'Honesty' (Atticus Black) is out now. "We can't wait to hit the road on the Rock Sound Riot Tour," says frontman Steve Sears. "Every band's going to have something completely different to offer and I love that – Rock Sound have had our backs from Day One and it's wicked to be part of it all. It's going to be fucking great." Very special guests will be announced in due course.

"We're hugely excited to have Every Time I Die, one of the most reliably awesome live bands in history, headlining the Rock Sound Riot Tour," says editor Ben Patashnik. "And it's great that Spycatcher will be opening the shows, as they're a band we've been loving for months. Not only that, but once we reveal the rest of the line-up it'll be clear that this is one of the most awesome tours of the year. Don't miss out!"
