As the vocalist and one half of pop group Savage Garden and as a solo artist, Australia's Darren Hayes has sold in excess of 26 million album sales worldwide and notched up an incredible 2 U.S Billboard number one singles in his 15 year career.  Keeping up a tradition of performing a very special one-off New Year's Eve show every 2 years, Hayes brings his end of year celebration to Manchester for the first time.   Not just a concert but a complete party - Hayes and his band will perform a live 2-hour show with hits from his entire career including songs from a new album.  Special guests The Candle Thieves will open the show and afterwards Hayes and band will stay on to enjoy a D.J set of songs chosen by Darren and spun by Tom Knight until 3 am.

In previous years, audiences at Darren's New Year's Eve shows have from all four corners of the globe - and attendance has become a tradition for some of the most faithful.  For someone who has never seen Hayes in concert it is an opportunity to experience the intimacy and informal nature of a club vibe with the excitement and celebration that only a New Year's Eve in Manchester could bring.

As a special treat - all ticket holders will be given the opportunity to vote for songs online to help shape the set list on the evening.  Hayes will include 5 of the most requested 'rarities' into his hit-laden show making this a truly unique event.
