+ FURTHEST DRIVE HOME

Agreeable pop punk band Forever The Sickest Kids hail from Dallas, Texas and formed in 2006 as a result of the mergence of two bands: Been Bradley and The Flipside. The band currently consists of members Marc Stewart (guitar), Kyle Burns (drums), Kent Garrison (keyboard), Jonathan Cook (vocals) and Austin Bello (bass).

The band signed to Universal Motown Records in April 2007 and released their debut EP ‘Television Off, Party On’ in July of the same year. One reviewer spoke of the album claiming it to be ‘the type of feel good music that’ll give you the urge to dance your little hearts out’. The EP was followed by the releases of ‘The Sickest Warped Tour’ EP and the ‘Hot Party Jamz’ EP.

Forever The Sickest Kids supported All Time Low and The Rocket Summer on their 2008 Alternative Press tour and recently completed their debut headlining tour in which they performed alongside Metro Station, The Cab, Danger Radio and The Maine.

The band released their debut full-length album titled ‘Underdog Alma Mater’ in April 2008. The album is filled with happy uplifting noise that reeks of freedom with its energetic fast-paced kicky pop tunes.

In a recent issue of Alternative Press, Forever The Sickest Kids was named the number one underground band in the ’22 Best Underground Bands (that likely won’t stay underground for long)’ list.

Forever The Sickest Kids will be performing live at Manchester Academy 2 on Friday 13th February.
