American post grunge band 3 Doors Down originally formed in 1994 by members Brad Arnold (vocals, drums), Matt Roberts (guitar) and Todd Harrell (bass). The band signed to Universal Records after the success of their single ‘Kryptonite’. 3 Doors Down have since sold well over thirteen million albums in the US alone since their debut album ‘The Better Life’ was released in 2000. They also perform an impressive average of three hundred concerts a year and have performed with other well-known artists such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Staind, Nickleback, Alter Bridge, Breaking Benjamin, Seether and Shinedown. To date, the band has released four full-length studio albums, three of which have gone platinum. They have also released a live album and have recently recorded their fifth full-length self-titled studio album, which is scheduled for release on May 20th. The current line up of 3 Doors Down consists of Brad Arnold on vocals, Matt Roberts on lead guitar, Chris Henderson on rhythm guitar, Todd Harrell on bass and Greg Upchurch on drums and percussion. 3 Doors Down will be performing live at Manchester Academy 2 on Saturday 31st May. |
